Cindy is owner and Personal Trainer  of APEXWellness. 

As a fitness professional, one of her favorite things to do is to educate people looking to improve their health,fitness and lifestyle. Cindy’s  experience includes working with individuals of varying ages, abilities, and aspirations – from beginner exercisers to athletes.Cindy has been a certified  Personal Trainer since 2003; and a martial art practitioner and instructor since 1997.

Fitness Background:

Fitness, sports, and martial arts have been an integral part of Cindy’s  life since the age of 15. As a high school and college athlete, Cindy  was training in softball and track & field. Cindy is  an avid runner. She participated in 5k’s, 7k’s, and an occasional half marathon, and cycling events. As a martial artist, Cindy is  actively training martial arts in style of Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu since 1997 and currently holds a 3rd degree black belt and a certified Women's Self Defense Instructor. Cindy’s  other martial arts and self defense experiences include kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga.

 

Cindy’s Philosophy:

Cindy believes fitness, exercise, and healthy eating should be part of everyone’s lifestyle.  Her goal is to empower and educate people to improve their quality of life.

Cindy’s Personal Training emphasizes proper posture, core stability progressing to core strength and functional strength, and flexibility to improve everyday life.

Cindy trains a broad range of clients in weight loss, strength training and sports and athletic conditioning..
